Audi once again excelled at the annual readers poll “Best Cars of 2010”, conducted by renowned German auto publication “auto motor und sport” (AMS). In total were 3 wins and three second places totalling a staggering 6 accolades.
The Audi A4, Audi R8 Spyder and the Audi Q5 were voted into first in their respective categories, while the Audi A3, A6 and R8 Coupé came second in their categories.

The Audi R8 Spyder won in the debuting category “Convertibles” while the Audi Q5 toped the computed votes on the “Off-road vehicles” category.

For the third consecutive year, the Audi A4 was the undisputed winner in the “Midsize class” category. All awards were presented in the “Alte Reithalle” in Stuttgart.

These impressive results were rounded out by the three second-place finishes. Readers of AMS voted the Audi A3 into second place in the “Lower midsize class” category; a feat emulated by the Audi A6 in the “Upper midsize class” and the Audi R8 Coupé in the “Sports car” categories.
With three first place finishes and three second places Audi was once again the most successful brand in the readers’ poll. This was the 34th time the magazine “auto motor und sport” had conducted this poll, with almost 100,000 readers casting their votes for 326 models in 10 different categories.
