When the first Audi TT launched back in 1999, an icon was born, now the new generation of Audi TT Roadsters and Coupes has arrived.
Audi TT comes in two main variants the basic Audi TT Roadster and Audi TT Coupé and the S line TTS Roadsters and TTS Coupes – In early 2009 there will be a twin-turbo diesel version of the TT the Audi TT TDi.
Audi TT Roadster and Coupé
The new Audi TT Roadster offers a choice of quattro and innovative S tronic automatic transmission technology, the Audi TT Roadster features Sport seats, 3-spoke flat bottom leather steering wheel (with paddle-shift gear-change on S tronic models), climate control and an aerodynamic rear spoiler which automatically extends as soon as the car reaches 74 mph. Thanks to quattro four-wheel-drive power is continuously distributed between the front and rear axles depending on weather conditions, road surface and gradient. The new Audi TT Roadster comes with 17″ wheels, tyre mobility system, fully automatic electrically-operated soft top which opens in 12 seconds, with integrated wind deflector, ABS braking system, ESP and Roll-over protection hoops.
Audi TT Roadster 3.2 Quattro Roadster Models
The Audi TT Roadster 3.2 Quattro models are equipped with few extra features compared to the standard Audi TT models.
Extra features are 18″ wheels, enhanced braking system, exhaust pipes single on left and right hand side in chrome rolled finish, Fine Nappa leather upholstery, exterior light styling pack with chrome detailed headlight surrounds and darkened rear light clusters, Phantom black painted grills. The 3.2 Quattro model is capable of reaching an electrifying top speed of 155mph, producing 250PS and accelerating from 0-62mph in just 5.7 seconds.

The new generation of Audi TT Roadsters comes with a choice of 2 petrol engines and the new diesel engine:
Petrol
2.0 TFSI 200PS
3.2 Quattro 250PS

2.0 TDI 170PS
Audi TTS Quattro Roadster
The Sline version of the Audi TT goes further and ads the following features.
Equipped with 18″ alloy wheels, ESP with sport mode, sports exhaust system with twin exhaust pipes on left and right hand side in chrome rolled finish, Xenon Plus headlights with LED daytime-driving, headlight washer system and TTS enhanced braking system with black painted brake callipers with TTS logo. The 2.0 TFSI engine delivers 350Nm of torque and goes from 0 to 62mph in 5.2 seconds making the new Audi TTS Roadster together with the Audi TTS Coupé the most powerful TTs models ever made by Audi, a number of key engine components were re-engineered in order to optimise performance and handling.

There is only engine option is an uprated (compared to the one in the basic Audi TT) 2.0-litre TFSI engine with 272ps and 350Nm of Torque. The Audi TTS Quattro comes with a TTS 6 speed manual with an option of S tronic gearbox.
