Audi R10 TDI wins the Le Mans 24 hours Race for the third consecutive time, the 8th consecutive for Audi Motorsports. Audi driver Tom Kristensen established a new record with his 8th personal victory in this classic race; Kirstensen is now the driver with most personal victories at Le Mans 24 hour’s race.

The Audi team suffered strong opposition from the Peugeot Nº7 driven by Jack Villeneuve, Marc Gene and Nicolas Minassian who led most the race. Triumphantly, the diesel powered Audi Nº2 driven by Tom Kristensen from Denmark, Renaldo Capello from Italy and British Driver Alan Mcnish, completed 381 laps in 24 hours in Le Mans with a 4 minutes and 31 seconds lead to win this year’s Le Mans 24 hours Race.
